Many Ocean Alexander yachts are outfitted with Oliveri linens: bed linen, towelling, and table linen made in Italy from premium natural fibers, including combed pure cotton, linen, and linen blends. These materials are made to last, but they need specific care to keep their softness, fit, and finish.
This guide covers:
- Bed linen: initial washing, expected shrinkage, washing, drying, and ironing by fabric type (cotton, linen, jacquard, embroidery)
- Towelling: first-use preparation, washing, and drying to preserve absorbency and cotton binding
- Table linen: washing, stain treatment, drying, and ironing
- Quick tips: general best practices for all Oliveri products
Important: Oliveri bed linens are intentionally overcut and will shrink over the first 3–4 washes. Verify final fit only after this shrinkage is complete. Avoid hot washes and high-heat drying.
