Owner Maintenance Responsibility #
If your Ocean Alexander vessel is equipped with a Maytag® washing machine, routine cleaning and preventative maintenance are the responsibility of the vessel owner and are not covered under the Ocean Alexander Limited Warranty.
As outlined in the Maytag Owner’s Manual, regular maintenance is essential to ensure optimal performance, prevent odors, reduce detergent residue, and extend the service life of the appliance. Recommended maintenance includes performing the Clean Washer cycle monthly (or as indicated by the appliance), wiping the door gasket and drum dry after each use, leaving the door slightly open between wash cycles to promote ventilation, and periodically inspecting the water supply hoses for signs of wear or deterioration.
Ocean Alexander does not provide complimentary appliance cleaning or maintenance. Service requests related to odors, detergent buildup, mold or mildew, poor drainage, or reduced performance resulting from a lack of routine maintenance are considered owner maintenance items and are not warrantable conditions.
